If you are unsure of the service you need, please email your stylist with your current hair history (include current photos in proper lighting and inspiration photos) and/or book a complimentary consultation of up to 15 minutes. We’re happy to help!
Cancellations
While we understand the circumstances of the current cover world, we take cancellations seriously as our time is our livelihood. If you are starting to feel sick within a week of your appointment, please give us notice so we can try to put a waitlist guest in place. We will keep you put in your current appointment time slot up, until you are still feeling unwell, within 48 hours of your appointment. These types of cancellations will have no charge.
Cancellations within 48 hours of the appointment will have a 50% charge of the service.
Day of cancellations will have a full service charge.
Bleach & Tones
If you are looking to book a full bleach out or have not had a bleach and tone service at TCD, please book yourself a consultation with the stylist of your choice. Typically these are long appointments and need assessment to understand how much time to book. Please include a note entailing your desired outcome and we will book your service at the point of consultation. *This is also required for a full vivid colour look.*

Colourful hues
All hair types must be lightened before adding a vivid or rainbow colour into the hair. All pastel and silver colours must first be lifted to platinum blonde in order to obtain these soft, powdery or metallic tones.

Ashley is our personal queen of bobs and dimensional balayage. She loves all types of colour projects and is particularly attracted to reds and copper tones. But don’t let that stop you from a beautifully bright blonde, brunette or rainbow look! As a stylist of over 15 years, she has had the opportunity to work in salons in Bellevue, West Seattle and the Greenwood neighborhood before coming to the Fremont/Wallingford neighborhood. Not like a regular mom, she’s a cool mom who continues to take her skills to the next level!

Kara (pronounced like Kare-uh) is a master of large colour changes since entering the inductry over 15 years ago. She has a vast interest in blondes and dimensional looks, as well as vivid & rainbow colours. Having had a lifelong adoration for hair and fashion; following in suit after her mother Teresa and grandmother Eileen; Kara is committed to continuing her education to keep up with modern hair trends. along with taking classes, she is slowly stepping into educating in color theory and placement. She has been the owner of The Colour Distillery hair lounge since opening November 5th, 2019 and couldn’t be more proud and grateful.
Marcelle Bearrs

Marcelle is our newest team member at The Colour Distillery hair lounge! She is a brand new hairstylist who is so excited to join our team. This is a career change for Marcelle and she could not be happier finally doing what she loves; helping people feel beautiful! Marcelle is certified in multiple Bellami Hair Extension techniques and plans to specialize in extensions and lived-in colour. Her books are now open and is looking forward to meeting all of her future clients!
